Exhibition Kamasada cast iron kettle and coffee
The long-awaited new products designed by Mr. Miya Nobuho, a third-generation of cast iron studio "Kamasada" are presented at this exhibition. These are sophisticated modern iron kettles made by wisdom and sensibility of northern life, living harsh winter. You can explore the process of the iron kettles by displayed drawings and prototypes. We also introduce Scandinavian coffee lifestyle throughout finnish coffee and modern coffee tools. (※)The kettle of the picture is prototype. Design of holder and knob would might be changed.
2 types kettles and 2 types pots with a limited edition logo and a serial number, from 65,000JPY to 80,000JPY, are offered only during the exhibition period at the store.New coffee measure spoons, 2,000JPY are also available.
You can taste Robert's coffee from Finland where the world's biggest coffee market, made of mild boil water in the Iron wear.

The only last 3 days, 18th(Sat)-20th(Mon) March, we will open designshop azabu from 11:00 to 19:00 on the weekend. At the closing event on 20th, Mr. Takamasa Miki, a barista of Omotesando Koffee and Koffee Mameya will offer Robert's coffee made of mild boil water in the iron wear. From 17:00pm, You would be fascinated with Kamasada special sweets "Kamadora" collaborated with Mr. Hidesue Yamada, culinary specialist of "and recipe"(http://andrecipe.tokyo).

NOBUHO MIYA
He has dedicated his life to the Japanese cast iron craft. After graduating from the Kanazawa College of Arts and Crafts, he completed a Masters course in iron casting at the prestigious Tokyo National University of Fine Arts. He began developing his own designs unique not only in its traditional technique but in its simplicity and elegance. His work has been exhibited worldwide including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.He also sent his work to Milano salone and a solo exhibition in Stockholm and won many awards. He dedicated himself to the restoration of the Chuson-ji temple golden hall, a national treasure of Japan as a Japanese traditional craftsman. The sophisticated and modern usability iron wears realized by his trained technique.
